This specific Lenovo laptop can be considered as one of the better budget laptop for programming, surfing, entertainment and all the students stuff.

Lenovo Ideapad 330-15 AMD Configuration

The laptop comes with a 15.6 inches HD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The good thing is that the screen has IPS technology for wide viewing angles, and Energy-efficient LED backlight.

With this device, you gonna get AMD Ryzen 5 processors {quad-core 2GHz (up to 3.6GHz) with 4MB cache}. This processor is good in performance and sometimes even compared with i7-7500U of Intel.

Best i7 Windows Laptop for Programming

If we talk about storage and Memory, then this Lenovo IdeaPad 300-15 AMD comes equipped with 256GB SSD hard and 8GB DDR4 SDRAM. 256GB SSD is good but not best. Yes you can definitely do everything you need as a student for stuffs ranging from coding, editing and minor gaming. Also it has a integrated AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics card.

If you are not buying this laptop for heavy editing, gaming or as a Data Science laptop, then this level of graphics is good to go.

Keyboard and trackpads

The Lenovo IdeaPad 330 15 AMD comes with a 6-row chiclet keyboard that is not backlit. The arrow keys are well-positioned, and there is a convenient number pad on the right side. Each key has a short travel distance and a noticeable pressure point, making it easy to type quickly and reliably.

Trackpad is slightly positioned towards the left. It is suitable for gesture control inputs and can be individually configured using the setup menu. It is responsive to Windows 10 gestures and accurately registers physical inputs.

Ports

The Lenovo Ideapad 330 offers excellent I/O port options, including a rare Type-C port in the budget laptop category. In total, there are two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.0 Type-C port, an HDMI port, and an SD slot. The SD card slot is a great feature for expanding system storage and transferring media to SD cards.

The IdeaPad 300 other’s features includes lightweight, Windows 10 and Built-in HD webcam with dual array microphone.

Now, what’s conclusion? Definitely this laptop is giving you a good configuration at this budget price tag. If you”ll go with more bigger brands like hp or DELL, you have lightweight your pocket little more for the same configuration.

But why this Lenovo IdeaPad 300-15 AMD is not quite common? Definitely it has some cons too.

Battery life is an issue. The manufacturer claims to have a power support of 5 hrs long. But even on medium brightness settings, it gives 3.5 to 4 hours. This we have experienced. Might be I am exception.

Speaker Quality Issue. Some have complained about the speaker sound quality. It is not giving that mesmerizing sound.
